Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you connect your Meta account, we collect and store:

• Your Meta user ID and name
• Your email address (if provided by Meta)
• A Meta access token to read your ad account activity on your behalf
• Your ad account IDs and names
• Ad activity logs from your accounts: change type, object name, old value, new value, timestamp, and who made the change

2. How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the AdPatterns service:

• Your access token is used to read ad activity from the Meta Marketing API
• We never use your token to make changes to your ad accounts
• Ad activity data is stored to show you your change history dashboard
• We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising purposes
• We do not use your data to train AI or machine learning models

3. Meta permissions we request

We request the following Meta permissions:

• ads_read | to read your ad account activity history. This is read-only. We cannot create, edit, or delete any ads, ad sets, campaigns, or budgets.

4. Data storage and security

• Your access token is stored encrypted in our database
• We use HTTPS for all data transmission
• Access tokens expire and are refreshed according to Meta's token policies
• We do not store your Meta password

5. Data retention and deletion

You can disconnect your account at any time by clicking "Disconnect" in the app. This will:

• Revoke your access token immediately
• Stop all polling of your ad accounts
• To request full deletion of your stored data, email us at privacy@adschangelogger.com

6. Third parties

We use the following third-party services:

• Meta (Facebook) | to authenticate you and read your ad activity via their Marketing API
• Our hosting provider | to run the application and store data

We do not use analytics trackers, ad pixels, or other third-party data collection tools.
